My comment regarding Evidence-Based Healthcare, Medicine, Practice is I agree with the evidence based healthcare system. This system allows healthcare professions to make decisions based on evidence and then deliver services best for the patients outcome. The patient, his doctor and the external clinical evidence help with the individuals healthcare. The article speaks about evidence based procedures being used to diagnosis patients.
I have learned over the years, when going on doctor appointments, if your going to see a doctor for symptoms you may be experiencing, your doctor goes into another room and research the symptoms online. I have saw my doctor in action. A person would think that a doctor would already know this information. I guess the saying practicing medicine is a true statement. The doctors are constantly learning and exploring information themselves. I agree with the article when it states that evidence-based medicine is recognition of clinical practices, just like science. It’s up to the doctors and nurses to participate with the research and technology process in order for the evidence-based healthcare system to help make decisions about the patient.
