Future Population Trends

With the baby boomer generation getting to the age of needed healthcare, it is our duty to take care of them. Having the technology that we have today helps a lot. We used to not be able to do certain things, and now with technology growing every single day, who knows what we will be able to do by the time I am at that age. With technology changing everyday so does everyones lives. We do not notice it that much because we are immuned to changes in the technology field. We believe change is a good thing in certain ways. This article is very informal and opens my mind to what we have to come still.

It is going to be a big challenge to take care of the aging population of this country.  Technology will address some of the needs but not all.  Hopefully, families will do what they can to take care of their loved ones and there will be support available to help keep people in their homes for as long as possible.

Agreed! I am a firm believer that the advancement of technology has increased the value of life. The discovery of new tests and preventative care has improved so much. Also, the pharmaceutical industry has improved so much that there are many drugs available that are helping with many illnesses and diseases, which in turn makes people live longer and healthier.
